When it comes to health and fitness, I believe in sustainability over all else! Sure, there are great "12-week programs, 1-month challenges, 90-day transformations", but by the end of that well fought effort, can you see yourself maintaining that for the rest of your life? Like the classic proverb goes, "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." I prefer not to "train" but rather "teach" you how to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle in our modern world. I submit that this can be difficult, but it is attainable if armed with the proper knowledge! I'm a husband and father, while working as a medical professional and I've always had a passion for health and fitness. I've remained active while fulfilling my duties as a family man as I believe having a strong presence and being physically capable is a vital aspect of continuing to provide for my family. My athletic endeavors as a competitor on NBC's American Ninja Warrior for 5 seasons in addition to competing as a professional natural bodybuilder gave me a strong incentive on learning how to effectively overcome the energy rich food environment and sedentary lifestyle of the modern world to optimize my performance. In addition to learning how to train efficiently, this also led me to study nutrition in effort to apply that knowledge to my own pursuit of physical excellence and metabolic health. I saw my father succumb to his lack of metabolic health and this lit the spark in me not to go down that same path for the sake of my children. I have acquired much knowledge and experience through study, trial, and error so I feel obligated to help guide those who want to take control of their physical well-being.
